David Kantrud is the Senior Vice President of Development at Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI). Since joining MSI in 2004, he has worked as a senior developer and manager of application development, and he is the current architect of the EnterprisePM product. David’s current responsibilities include leading the development, IT, and the product distribution departments, and assisting with the overall software strategy of the company. David's strong core business sense, and his dedication to mentoring those around him, have contributed to the ongoing success of the development department.
Prior to joining MSI,
David was a software engineer and technical lead at Pegasus Solutions
for three years, working on of a variety of hospitality products
including Netbooker, WinAI, and PegsCentral. Before Pegasus Solutions,
he worked as a programmer for Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auctions and
the State of Arizona. David resides in Gilbert with his wife, Rochelle, and his two children: Connor and Cassie. He enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, and following professional basketball. David is also an accomplished skydiver with a master parachutist license and a national collegiate skydiving championship in formation skydiving to his credit.
Joel Soderberg is Vice
President of Development at Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI). Since his
promotion to his current position in 1997, Joel has managed the
development of interfaces to MSI's Property Management Systems. In
this role, he has been responsible for the creation and development of
MSI’s award-winning property management systems, and has contributed
directly to MSI’s aggressive growth and superior client service record.
Ted Warring is the Chief Scientist at Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI). Since joining MSI in 1998 as Senior Software Engineer he has been involved in the majority of MSI's major projects, and was promoted to his current position in 2005. Ted's current responsibilities include providing technical leadership and training to the development staff, acting as development lead in a number of projects, as well as planning the roadmap for integrating and developing innovative new technologies for the future. Prior to joining MSI, Ted was a principal in two software companies focusing on software automation for several vertical market industries, and was a sought after software architecture consultant for various software companies during the DOS to Windows transition of the 1990's. His educational background in computer science and artificial intelligence research has leveraged his over 20 years of software engineering and systems automation experience. He stays current on computer science research and theory, as well as available technologies in the private sector, and holds a number of technical certifications. He is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). To give back to his community Ted has been involved in child welfare advocacy for over 10 years, and has been involved in legislation and study groups focused on protecting children. He is currently on the board of Arizona Protective Parents Network (AZPPN), and volunteers for several other non-profit agencies. Ted resides on a small ranch in Maricopa County with three of his children, and seven horses. His favorite activities include spending time with his children, visits with his granddaughter, and working with the horses they have raised. He also spends time performing research and building robots, as well as supporting artificial intelligence systems he authored that are used in educational programs in several countries including Singapore, the Netherlands, and Israel.
