Description |
| MSI (Multi-Systems, Inc.) is the
leading provider of hotel technology for hotel property management
systems, sales & catering and point-of-sale software with 3,000
installations across North America and over 200 people at its
headquarters in Phoenix, AZ and around the USA.
We have an opportunity in new business development
for someone with a proven track record of generating sales in this
sector. You will be inspired by our fast paced environment and
enjoy tackling a variety of activities and multiple projects
simultaneously. You will have a strong sense of urgency to
achieve your personal and professional goals.
A hotel operations/sales background is a must, as
is self-motivation as this position is home based. The sales
territory covers the Midwest USA region.
The successful candidate will be required to
originate and manage leads with independent hotels and senior
management at regional hotel and management companies. You
will have the support of a world class product, training and support
infrastructure. You will be a highly enthusiastic self-starter
with great communication skills and capable of winning new business
in an intensely competitive sector by building solid business
relationships. |

Responsibilities |
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with key
decision makers.
• Convincingly sell the benefits and value of MSI's software solutions
and services.
• Strong powers of persuasion to convince prospects to choose our
solutions over that of our competitors.
• Be sufficiently detail-oriented to propose simple solutions to complex
business problems.
• Analyze customer processes, identify problem areas and consult with
them about how best to overcome their "pain points".
• Develop specific tactical sales campaigns in association with senior
management and corporate marketing that includes cold calling campaigns,
road shows and onsite consultative meetings/presentations.
• Confidence in demonstrating software solutions.
• Forecast sales outcomes accurately and set prospecting activities to
achieve agreed goals.
• Represent MSI at outside events such as trade shows, seminars, etc. |

Requirements |
• Hotel management/GM/assistant GM.
• Strong awareness of technology and hands on experience of property
management systems (PMS).
• PMS/IT sales to hotels, hotel management companies and/or hotel
chains.
• Ability to empathize with prospects and customers and to communicate
MSI's value proposition.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years relevant sales
experience or hotel operations/management.
• Experience of sales within the hospitality sector gained through
either hotel sales or sales to hotels.
• Proficient with MS Office tools. |
